Clinic for Radiology and Nuclear Medicine

The Department of Radiological and Nuclear Medicine supports all the various clinics in our hospital and their outpatient facilities. It is divided into the following three areas: X-Ray Diagnostics, Nuclear Medicine Diagnostics and Conventional Radiotherapy.

The diagnostic X-ray facilities in our Clinic include several traditional radiological workstations as well as a digital fluoroscopy unit, a 16-line spiral computed tomography unit, an investigation unit for digital subtraction angiography, a mammography unit and an ultrasound unit. MRT diagnosis is performed at the hospital in cooperation with a joint practice in Kamp-Lintfort.
